Dr. Armstrong hails from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. He graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, Minnesota. Upon graduating he moved to Newberry, Michigan and ran a practice there for approximately three years before moving to Marquette in October of 2005.
Dr. Armstrong and his wife (a Michigan native) decided to make Marquette their home because they could not resist its beauty and the proximity to family. Dr. Armstrong’s wife, Teresa, went to high school in Marquette and also received her Master’s Degree from Northern.
To be licensed as a Doctor of Chiropractic Dr. Armstrong underwent intensive training and then was required to pass the National Board of Chiropractic licensure examinations. These examinations consist of four parts which Dr. Armstrong has successfully acquired. Current laws in Michigan only require chiropractors to have passed the first three parts of the examination in order to be licensed.
Also to maintain his license Dr. Armstrong attends seminars and conferences throughout the year in order to remain up to date on the latest information and research.
