Patient Feedback

I have been a chiropractic patient intermittently over the past 10 years for my lumbar and neck areas. I have experienced a variety of chiropractic practices in Michigan and Wisconsin. Dr Armstrong is the very first chiropractor I have received therapy from that did not require a routine set of visits as a part of my treatment plan.

When I arrived at his office, I was in great pain and expected the usual X-rays and pre-set series of weekly visits. I was quite surprised that not only was my neck discomfort greatly reduced within the first two adjustments, but that we decided together the frequency and duration of my plan of care.

Dr Armstrong utilized different adjustment techniques and physical therapy aides [muscle vibrator, heat packs, massage] that greatly added to my treatment and recovery period.

I am now a once a month patient. Even though my Insurance carrier considers Dr Armstrong "out of network" for me, I choose to continue to have my chiropractic services from Dr Armstrong. I have had a very positive experience and have great faith in Dr Armstrong's philosophy and practice of Chiropractic services.

Have you ever wondered what would have happened if you hadn’t met someone?  I know the answer to that question when it comes to Dr. Danny Armstrong.

In January 2006 life was interesting if it was nothing else.  My husband had been diagnosed five months earlier with stage 3 esophageal cancer.  He had gone from 240 to 180 pounds.  He was unable to work.  I was a full-time student trying to finish my Bachelor’s degree, and take care of him, when I received a call asking if I could fill in as a receptionist at a social service agency in Marquette.  It happened to be the “good part” of the chemotherapy cycle for my husband so I said yes.  One of the counselors happened to notice that I was experiencing back pain and recommended a new chiropractor in town.  He was very nice and very persistent that this chiropractor could help.

I first saw a chiropractor some time in the early 1980’s.  I had gone regularly, and while I did experience mild relief, I never experienced that adjustment that I was always waiting for, the one I was always hoping for.  The last time I had been to a chiropractor was about 1999.

By the time January 2006 came around I was reasonably certain that at sometime in the not too distant future I was going to need back surgery.  My lower back was always just a sneeze away from “going out”.  One time I actually threw it out by jumping into a swimming pool.  The skin on the small of my back was partially numb, and I lived in a state of constant pain.  Most of the time the pain was manageable but it was not pleasant.

When I finally made that first appointment I was skeptical.  How could this “new” guy be better than the other chiropractors I had seen, let alone, as good as I had heard?  Dr. Armstrong saw me three times that first week.  I can honestly say that he did more for me in that first week than all of the other chiropractors had done in all of their adjustments put together!

It has been almost a year. I no longer live in constant pain.  The skin on the small of my back is no longer numb and I can not praise Dr. Armstrong enough.

Have you ever wondered what would have happened if you hadn’t met someone?  I know the answer to that question when it comes to Dr. Danny Armstrong!
